Science Olympiad Winners: April 13th, 2024

  A round of applause for Mrs. Kaufman and her stellar students from White Pine! Their exceptional performance at Science Olympiad held at ISU this past Saturday truly shone bright. Let's give a standing ovation to Annalea and Sam for clinching the Gold with their Tower, while Blake and Ben soared high with their Wind Power, also securing Gold. The accolades don't stop there! Annalea and Sam showcased their talent once again, getting Bronze in Write It-Do It, while Paxton's expertise in Disease Detectives earned White Pine another Bronze! Congratulations to the entire team for their dedication, hard work, and outstanding achievements. Keep shining bright, Cougars! 

Robotics Team Takes on Botball 2024 Regional Tournament: April 13, 2024

 Despite not clinching the top spot, our White Pine Robotics team soared at the Botball 2024 Regional Tournamen, Moon Base Mission!  We're proud to announce that the did secure the Judges' Choice award to show their dedication and innovation.  Presented by KISS Institute for Practical Robotics, this competition provided our students with invaluable learning opportunities. From tackling challenges to refining strategies, every moment was a chance to grow and excel.  While the road to victory may not always be smooth, it's the journey of learning and growth that truly matters. Our team emerged stronger and more inspired than ever, ready to take on new challenges and reach even greater heights in the world of robotics. Congratulations to our incredible team on a job well done! Your hard work has made us proud! Here's to the countless successes and lessons learned ahead!

SeaPerch Victory: April 5, 2024

 We're thrilled to announce that our SeaPerch team has clinched yet another victory, securing 1st place in both the Obstacle Course and Overall categories at the regional competition on April 5th! This remarkable achievement marks our second consecutive year advancing to the International competition, as testament to the dedication and talent of our incredible team. A huge congratulations is in order for these exceptional students who continue to push the boundaries of innovation and excellence. Your hard work and determination have truly paid off!  We extend a heartfelt gratitude to the Naval Nuclear Laboratory for providing this invaluable opportunity and enriching learning experience for our students. It's through partnerships like these that we are able to inspire and empower the next generation of STEM leaders.
