3rd Grade Conservation Showcase: Protecting Endangered Species: October 17, 2025

Our gymnasium was filled with excitement, curiosity, and compassion as our 3rd grade students hosted their Endangered Species Conservation Showcase. This project invited students to explore the challenges faced by endangered animals and to understand how human actions can help protect and preserve wildlife across the globe.

Students worked in research teams to identify an endangered species, gather information from credible sources, and develop a presentation to share with classmates, families, and visitors. To deepen their understanding, students also created hand-built models that represented the habitats, features, or behaviors of the animals they studied.

This hands-on project combined elements of science, literacy, communication, and design, while also nurturing empathy and global awareness. Alongside their research, students worked together to raise funds to support real-world conservation organizations, applying their learning to make a meaningful impact.

We are so proud of the hard work and leadership our 3rd graders demonstrated throughout this project. Thank you to all the families and community members who joined us, encouraged students, and supported their conservation efforts. You helped make this an inspiring and memorable experience.

Our young conservationists are already making a difference — and their voices matter.
