Future City Competition- Boise: January 31, 2023

Our middle school students attended the Future City competition in Boise this past week and came home with some awards!


Brix City won Most Innovative Approach to Overcoming Obstacles and Bristle Cone Pine won the Multimodal Transportation award. Congrats to our students for taking on the ultimate STEM competition as winners and to all our teams who competed. We are so proud!

 Despite not clinching the top spot, our White Pine Robotics team soared at the Botball 2024 Regional Tournamen, Moon Base Mission!  We're proud to announce that the did secure the Judges' Choice award to show their dedication and innovation.  Presented by KISS Institute for Practical Robotics, this competition provided our students with invaluable learning opportunities. From tackling challenges to refining strategies, every moment was a chance to grow and excel.  While the road to victory may not always be smooth, it's the journey of learning and growth that truly matters. Our team emerged stronger and more inspired than ever, ready to take on new challenges and reach even greater heights in the world of robotics.  Middle and high school students from White Pine had the exciting opportunity to participate in ISU Bengal STEM Day.  Collaborating with community partners, the ISU Science and Engineering departments curated a dynamic event filled with hands-on labs and engaging competitions. The labs sparked curiosity and aimed to ignite a passion for STEM disciplines among the young minds in attendance. The fusion of academic expertise and community support made ISU Bengal STEM Day an unforgettable and enriching experience for everyone involved.
