Science and Engineering Fair: February 24, 2023

 Applause echoes through the halls of White Pine as we celebrate the remarkable achievements of our 6th graders at their first ever Science and Engineering Fair!


With boundless enthusiasm and dedication, our young scientists showcased their ingenuity and creativity, leaving us in awe of their talent and passion for discovery. Each project displayed a ton of hard work! 


A heartfelt shoutout goes to the driving force behind this unforgettable experience, Mrs. Paxman. Her visionary leadership and efforts paved the way for a new tradition at White Pine, igniting a spark of curiosity in our students and empowering them to explore the wonders of science and engineering.



To our exceptional 6th graders, we are bursting with pride at your accomplishments. Your perseverance and innovative spirit inspire us all. Keep reaching for the stars!

 Despite not clinching the top spot, our White Pine Robotics team soared at the Botball 2024 Regional Tournamen, Moon Base Mission!  We're proud to announce that the did secure the Judges' Choice award to show their dedication and innovation.  Presented by KISS Institute for Practical Robotics, this competition provided our students with invaluable learning opportunities. From tackling challenges to refining strategies, every moment was a chance to grow and excel.  While the road to victory may not always be smooth, it's the journey of learning and growth that truly matters. Our team emerged stronger and more inspired than ever, ready to take on new challenges and reach even greater heights in the world of robotics.  Middle and high school students from White Pine had the exciting opportunity to participate in ISU Bengal STEM Day.  Collaborating with community partners, the ISU Science and Engineering departments curated a dynamic event filled with hands-on labs and engaging competitions. The labs sparked curiosity and aimed to ignite a passion for STEM disciplines among the young minds in attendance. The fusion of academic expertise and community support made ISU Bengal STEM Day an unforgettable and enriching experience for everyone involved.
